Certified Public Accountant

Certified Fraud Examiner

Aaron is the owner/operator of Spotlight Accounting, and specializes in three types of services: management accounting/bookkeeping, forensic accounting, and financial coaching.

Aaron believes all businesses should have accurate accounting records on which management can rely for making decisions. Aaron has seen accounting records for many different companies, and not all of them have had reliable data. Aaron is dedicated to helping businesses create and maintain clean accounting records. A QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor, Aaron enjoys helping businesses run smoothly and make wise decisions in maintaining good cash flow and cutting expenses. Most of Aaron's bookkeeping clients are assisted living centers.

As a forensic accountant, Aaron has experience tracing funds, summarizing transactions, and analyzing money flows. Additionally, Aaron has calculated economic damages for a variety of causes of action relating to intellectual property. He has assisted in the creation of numerous Rule 26 expert reports, declarations, and other accounting analyses for litigation.

Aaron is passionate about personal finance. Recognizing that it is more "personal" than "financial," it is important to him for everyone to have the resources they need to eliminate debt, save for a rainy day, reach financial goals, build wealth, and achieve financial peace.

In his free time, Aaron enjoys singing in small ensembles, keeping up with the MCU, and making his wife and kids laugh.
